Track update

A few things are happening in the next few weeks at Washington Park Velodrome. On Tuesday, June 27th, it is the Wisconsin State Scratch Championship for category 1/2, 3, 4, 5 and women. We also had an anonymous sponsor donate $600 in payouts to the category 1/2 omnium. All categories will be competing in a miss and out, scratch and points races.

On Saturday, July 1st will have another Track 101 Clinic. Registration opens at 8am, clinic is from 9am-12pm. Learn track cycling basics from some of the best track cyclists in the Midwest. Need to be at least 9 years old. Cost is only $10. We do have a limited number of track bikes available for use. Email to reserve a bike.

We are not racing on Tuesday, July 4th.

The next week, on Tuesday, July 11th, is when the juniors are going to be spotlighted. The juniors will be racing in the Bill Schulte Memorial Points race. This is open to all juniors, racing age 9-18. This race is always a favorite with juniors, with the increased payouts and primes.

Results for the first three weeks are posted on our website and USACycling. We are also keeping track of team totals. I wonder who will be the top team at the end of the season?

If there is ever any question, please email!
